As I watch the animations from the past two decades made with CGI and teams of people, I still gravitate to the character and humanity of the hand made illustrated animation of the mid-20th century. This illustrated stop animation technique I’ve developed is time intensive but wouldn’t be the same if it was done with more advanced software. I draw still images on paper or in Procreate, then run them 8 frames per second the way a Super8 camera would present stills into film.

B & G Fireworks is a very short love story. Inspired by a fireworks trailer I saw on the side of the road in Forest Junction, WI. I illustrated and animated this video. And, this is a first time collaboration with musician Jon Pontrello, from Seattle, WA.
A short animated illustration about a UFO that puts out forest fires. This story was inspired by the absurd claim by Republican member of the US House of Representatives, Marjorie Taylor Greene, that Jewish space lasers were the cause of a deadly California forest fire.
